Police Go On Offense During Super Bowl

Updated numbers include 94 arrests in sex trafficking sting!  Police's hopes were to use the Super Bowl to bring attention to trafficking, being an issue happening in our community each and every day.  One interesting note was a change in demographic, with most arrests of men between 21-50 years of age, vs. previously the largest percentage of buyers were 41-50 years old.

Many nonprofits that work with youth or adults had additional shelter beds and services available around the time of the Super Bowl.  Between them, they assisted 40 victims, according to the director at Source MN.

All agree that we need to get the public more engaged and have the hard conversations to talk about the hard things.
